For Nursing Homes
Claim Your Nursing Home's Listing
How Do You Claim a Listing on Senior Care Help?
Find your home on its city page and choose "Claim this listing." We confirm that you work there with a call to the home's listed number, and once your claim is confirmed you can add a description, photos, video, hours and programs. After a quick review, your home gets its own page. It's free: Senior Care Help lists all 14,686 Medicare- and Medicaid-certified nursing homes in 1,160 cities, and no home pays to be listed.
What a Claimed Listing Gets
- A dedicated page at your listing's own address, with your description, photos, video, hours, programs and team alongside your CMS ratings, staffing and inspection results.
- A "Claimed" badge and a link to that page from your listing on your city's page.
- Your own words. Families comparing homes see what daily life and care are like, not just the numbers.
- Updates when you need them. Sign in any time with your work email to change hours, photos or programs.
How to Claim Your Listing
- Find your home with the nursing home finder or on your state and city page, then choose "Claim this listing" under it.
- Enter your name, role, work email and phone.
- We confirm the claim with a call to the home's number as CMS lists it, and email you a sign-in link.
- Add your description, photos, video and details in the listing editor and submit them for review.
- Once approved, your dedicated page goes live and search engines are told about it.

How Reviews Keep Listings Trustworthy
Families use this site to choose care for someone they love, so a person checks every claim and every update before it appears. CMS's ratings, staffing, inspection and penalty figures stay on every listing exactly as CMS publishes them, and what a home adds is marked as provided by the home. The listing terms set out what can and can't be added.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is Claiming a Listing Free?
Yes. Claiming your home's listing, adding to it and getting a dedicated page cost nothing. Senior Care Help is paid for by display ads, never by nursing homes, and a claimed listing isn't placed above any other.
Who Can Claim a Listing?
Someone who works for the nursing home and may speak for it: an administrator, director of nursing, owner, marketing or admissions lead, or office staff with permission. We confirm every claim by calling the home's phone number as CMS lists it.
What Can I Add to My Listing?
A description of your home and the care you give (at least 150 words), visiting and office hours, programs and specialties such as memory care or short-term rehabilitation, your care team, insurance and payment notes, languages, up to 10 photos and up to 3 YouTube or Vimeo videos.
When Does My Listing Get Its Own Page?
Once your claim is confirmed and your first update is reviewed. A dedicated page needs a description of 150 words or more plus at least one of: three photos, hours, a team section or a program description. Until then your listing stays on your city's page.
Can I Change CMS's Ratings or Inspection Results?
Not here. Star ratings, staffing, inspections, fines and quality measures come from CMS Care Compare and stay as CMS publishes them. A home that finds an error in its own data works through CMS and its state survey agency. What you add appears alongside, marked as provided by your home.
What Isn't Allowed?
Outcome or recovery rates; testimonials or stories about residents; photos that show residents; guarantees; claims to be the best or number one; and links in your text. Every update is reviewed before it goes live, and the listing terms set out the full rules.
