Terms of Use

Terms of Use

These terms explain what this independent site is, the limits of its listings, guides and tools, and the rules for using it. By using the site, you agree to these terms.

Effective October 5, 2026Applies to seniorcare.help

seniorcare.help is operated by Rupe Enterprises LLC, a Washington limited liability company. In these terms, "Senior Care Help" means the site and Rupe Enterprises LLC.

In an Emergency

This site can't respond to an emergency. If someone is in danger or needs urgent medical help, call 911. To report suspected abuse or neglect of an older adult, contact your state's Long-Term Care Ombudsman or Adult Protective Services. For free help finding local aging services, call the Eldercare Locator at 1-800-677-1116.

Information Only, Not Advice

The listings, guides, tools, state and city pages explain long-term care in plain words to help you understand your choices. They are general information, not medical, legal or financial advice, and they don't cover every situation. They are not a substitute for advice from a doctor, an elder law attorney, a financial professional or your state Medicaid agency. The site doesn't assess anyone's health or memory. The Medicaid checker shows published rules and gives no eligibility decision; only your state Medicaid agency decides eligibility. Using the site doesn't create a doctor-patient, attorney-client or any other professional relationship with anyone.

Not a Care Provider, Placement or Referral Service

Senior Care Help doesn't provide care, doesn't run an intake line, and doesn't match or refer families to facilities or agencies. It isn't run by, connected to or endorsed by CMS, Medicare, Medicaid or any other part of government. To find care, use the finder to contact a nursing home directly, call the Eldercare Locator, or look up homes on CMS's own Medicare Care Compare.

Nursing Home Data Comes From CMS

Nursing home names, addresses, phone numbers, star ratings, staffing, inspection results, penalties and quality measures come from CMS Care Compare, as CMS publishes them, with the date of the data. A listing is not an endorsement, recommendation or guarantee of quality, safety, availability or Medicaid acceptance. Homes change their staffing, ownership and openings, and CMS updates its data on its own schedule, so confirm details with the home, its latest inspection report and your coverage before you decide. The How We Research page explains the data and how often it is refreshed.

No Guarantee of Outcomes

Senior Care Help doesn't guarantee a bed, admission, coverage, cost, eligibility or any result of care. Decisions about care and coverage are made by the person receiving care and their family, their doctors, the facility, and Medicare, Medicaid, the VA or their insurer.

Information Changes

Coverage rules, Medicaid limits, state licensing rules and nursing home data change. Pages show the date they were reviewed and the source of each figure. Senior Care Help can't promise that every page, listing or external link is current at the moment you read it. Confirm important details with the official source before you act. If you find a material error, use the contact form.

Advertising

The site shows display ads served by Google AdSense. Advertisers are chosen by Google, not by Senior Care Help, and an ad is not a recommendation. Your dealings with an advertiser are between you and that advertiser. Read the advertising disclosure for details.

External Sites

Links to nursing homes, CMS, Medicare.gov, state agencies, other government sites and other organizations are provided for convenience. Senior Care Help doesn't control the content, availability, security or privacy practices of sites it doesn't operate. A link doesn't by itself mean that Senior Care Help endorses the organization or every claim on its site.

Acceptable Use

You may use the site for lawful personal purposes. You may not interfere with site operation, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, misrepresent automated traffic as a person, or republish substantial portions of the site as your own product. Ordinary search-engine crawling that respects published controls is allowed.

Site Content and Availability

Unless a page says otherwise, the site's original writing, design and tools are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Government data, including CMS's nursing home data, remains attributable to its agencies. Senior Care Help may update, suspend or remove site features and content.

No Warranty and Limitation of Liability

The site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. Rupe Enterprises LLC disclaims implied warranties that may legally be disclaimed, including warranties of accuracy, completeness and fitness for a particular purpose. To the extent permitted by law, Rupe Enterprises LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from use of the site, including decisions made in reliance on a listing, a guide or a tool. These terms do not limit rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited.

Changes and Questions

These terms may be revised by posting an updated effective date. Continued use after a change means the revised terms apply to later use. Send questions through the contact form.
