For a correction to a guide or state page, include the page address, what looks wrong and, if you can, a link to the official page (CMS, Medicare.gov, Medicaid.gov, the Administration for Community Living, the National Institute on Aging, the VA, or a state licensing, Medicaid, aging or ombudsman agency) that shows the right detail. Every report is checked against the official source before a page changes. Feedback on what's unclear or missing is welcome too.

Nursing home ratings, staffing, inspection and penalty figures come from CMS Care Compare, so this site can't change them. If you run a nursing home and its data is wrong, correct it through CMS and your state survey agency, the state office that inspects nursing homes for CMS. Once CMS publishes the change, it appears here at the next data refresh. The How We Research page explains the steps. Listings can't be bought or upgraded.
